Laura Lea: Solo Horn

Laura, despite her 'hard as nails' appearance, is actually quite a nice girl.
She took up the tenor horn after a failed attempt on cornet ( a demotion from principal cornet to third cornet at her first band).
Although Laura really wanted to play a proper instrument, for example a baritone like his best friend Steven Williams,
she took to horn like a duck to water and can play lots and lost of fast notes in a line.

Laura is welcomed back to the band after a years sabbatical( i.e skive).Graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music in June,
Laura has studied under Sandy Smith, Lesley Howie and Owen Farr.
Laura is currently employed to sell sweets in the interval at the Opera House in Manchester...Obvious choice after a music degree!
